This project consisted of the complete redevelopment of Sector A (inmate accommodation sector), namely the demolition and the reconstruction of the interior (except the steel structure), the development of a technical floor in the attic, the replacement of security windows and the refurbishment of outdoor courtyards. The project also included the construction of a pedestrian tunnel connecting sector A to the central building and two new pavilions L and M inside the walls of the enclosure. Pavilion L is intended for the admission and release of prisoners, the management of sentences and the training of staff. Pavilion M houses the laundry room which also serves external clients. The pavilions are built to LEED certification standards.
