Construction of a New Head Office

Published in Recreation

Demolition of existing wood and brick building.  The building shares a wall with neighbour to the East and the rest of the wall is at the property limits.  The existing foundations are kept and a structural portion is added to existing to serve as main support to the new steel structure.  Strip the base of building and remove debris without damaging the foundation walls and other structural elements kept for the new construction.  The foundation wall are sawed horizontally to lower the building and allow the brick facade to come to 6'' of the sidewalk. Then the construction of the new building is set partially on existing foundations.  The construction of interior space and related services is done on 3 floors and a basement.  Environmental protection standards are respected with a view to sustainable development.
